Hot Rod Movie

Trailer for a 4 DVD 7 1/2 hour epic documentary about 65 years of California Hot Rodding seen by dreamsoflegends. If someone has this DVD Box of 2005 please contact me! One of my best days in this year was the day when I had the chance to drive such a Hot Rod. Thanks Frank Muschalla of dock66, it was a real pleasure!

Linocut - The Winning Oldsmobile

In recent weeks I've tried to print some of my illustrations with linoleum. Currently I can only make hand prints because I lack a suitable etching press yet. These are two- and three-color prints so I cut different lino-plates. I am not happy with the accuracy of fit and think I could improve this with a better printing table. The Illustration was made at the PC by Illustrator, then I printed it mirrored and transfered it to the linoleum plate. The next step is to cut the non-printing parts and this for the different colors. The "Winning Oldsmobile" were printed onto DIN A4 paper, the plates are DIN A5.

More Illustrations

Following the new illustrations and linocuts, I made this V8 illu.The Chevy V8 Hot Rod is a redraw, next step I will cut and print them. As you will see, these are orginally drawn as vector grafics, so I can use them for T-Shirts. I must re-draw this V8 motif, because I deleted (or loose) the original file...

 

2. US Cars & Harley Meeting Meerbusch

So many Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge Cars (...and many others) were participant last weekend at the 2. US Cars and Harley Meeting of the V8-Freunde Meerbusch. Nice to see a matte black Cadillac 62 Cabrio, this little golden Handi-Van, a two-colored Edsel, the Ford, GMC and Dodge RAM Pick-ups, the El Camino and Ranchero and lots of Harley-Davidson especially the WLA and Model 26. A great party with beer, BBQ and music...

Hot Blanket from Mexico

Today I received a hot stuff package from California - friend Tom "The Gardener" send me this nice mexican blanket straight from the Hot Rod county. This colorful mexican blanket "Molina" was originally made in Mexico, no China Scrap, must washed separatly and is from Acrylic. The size is big enough to cover your bed, use as a seat-cover or perfect for a picknik with your lovely Girl. Love it - and many greets to So-Cal Beach!

This blanket "Molina" is ca. 2,60 x 1,60 m and available in different main-colors but same design. Be aware this is handmade, so every mexican blanket delivery could be different from this photos.

Perfect Burrito Car - The 1970 Ford Ranchero

2 door coupe from the FORD Motor Company build from 1957 to 1979. Especially the 1968 to 1971 models are the real last muscle cars with up to 7l V8 engine. Stylish grille that featured hide-away headlamps. Length 5,237 m, width 1,925 m, weight 1,563 t, V8 engine with bore x stroke 110,7 mm x 91,2 mm, 365 PS at 4600 U/Min.

Look at these minitrail / minibikes at the platform. What a nice combination for a FORD Ranchero.
